have become very popular items at Leading Edge
Hobbies. As well as the everyday Rocketeer
we find now that our rockets are in demand by
teachers, cub/scout groups and Kingston's own
rocket club RoCK.
Leading Edge Hobbies presently sells the
following brands of rocketry equipment:
ESTES
We carry the complete line of Estes rockets,
engines and accessories. Estes is the
staple of basic rocketry and offers many great
kits from beginner to expert. The
Ready-To-Fly starters by ESTES are fantastic for
those just getting into the hobby. They
offer a rocket, launch pad, three engines,
igniters and wadding for a very reasonable
price. Just add 4AA batteries and the sky
is the limit.
QUEST
Quest is a line that we have recently got back
into. Presently we are only carrying a
couple of their Ready-To-Fly starters.
They look to be very colourful and exciting
rockets and are sure to compete with ESTES.
AEROTECH
We are carrying the E, F and G designation
engines from AEROTECH as well as their
copperhead igniters in 4" and
8". Presently, Canadian Law does not
allow for engines more powerful than the G
designation to be sold commercially.
When that changes we will definitely have them
in stock.
LOC-PRECISION
A new line for us, it has proved to be very
successful. We are offering a full line of
their rockets and accessories. Some may
need to be special ordered. LOC offers the
next step for the rocketeer as they can enter
the world of mid and high power rocketry.
